Your ESSENTILAL NUTREINTS are the building blocks of everything you do. Without them, you cannot Perform, Heal, or Thrive.
Gauge your long-term deficiencies and metal toxicities towards ultimate Quality of Life (QoL) & wellness.
Why Normal results don't always mean you're healthy.
Discover the hidden data that standard blood work can miss. Your Essentials are the core, absolutely necesary nutrients for everyting your body does. Generally, there are 3 classes: Minerals, Fatty Acids, and Amino Acids. When any of these are depleted, our-of-balance, or even low, it can adversly effect almost anything in the body - from energy, sleep, & recovery, to vital organ function, includding heart, brain, liver, & kidney.

THE NORMAL
LAB TRAP
You feel the symptoms, but the cause isn't showing up in the standard labs? Then test your Essentials! Give the body what it needs and let it figure it out for itself.
CELLULAR
VS SERUM
ESSNTL.US uses the same technology used for an A1C test for its Mineral & Fatty Acid analysis. This is the "gold-standard" for long-term results. The Aminos test uses a short-term method, but the results are still vitally imporant for the whole picture.
BEYOND THE
BAND-AID
Everyone is unique. Short-fixes usually don't work at all, and many Essential deficiencies can have the same symptoms - so trying to guess, or use a Q&A survey can easily fall short.
Unlock your Vitality from the Inside Out
We go beyond basic check-ups with advanced analysis of your blood - providing an excellent blueprint for optimizing your Essentials towards sustainable long-term wellness.

STANDARD TESTS
Most commonly run tests are used to determine if you are ill, but they rarely look at the levels of Essential Nutrients that your body requires to stay well or recover from illness & trauma.
Essential Nutrient TESTS
Essential Nutrient testing looks directly at the actual buildingblocks the body needs to properly function for Quality-of-Life (QoL), Healing & Wellness. Without these Essentials, your body cannot perform even the most basic functions.
The Essentials Tests
If this is the first time you’re testing, we recommend usingthe Full Panel. This gives you an Essential Nutrient baseline of your Minerals, Fatty Acids, and Aminos, PLUS (for FREE) we add in the Consultation, the Blood Cell Test, the Organ Function Test, and the Phlebotomy draw.
Depending on your results, you can retest using segments of the Full Panel – you do not have to repeat the entire package.
See below to review everything included in the Full Panel.
Note: We recommend the Full Panel because Essentials interact with each other. Seeing the full picture at once gives a much more accurate basis for recommendations than testing in pieces.

Got Questions ?
Find answer to the most common questions about classes, memberships, and more.
How is this different from the blood work my doctor already ordered?
Standard tests — cholesterol panels, metabolic panels, complete blood counts — measure how your organs are currently performing. They are end-result tests.
Essential nutrient tests measure the raw inputs your body needs to keep those organs running properly. By the time organ function shows up as abnormal on a standard test, the underlying nutrient problem has usually been present for a long time.
These tests focus on the nutrients your body cannot produce and must get from outside — because even a small, long-term shortfall can be the root cause of symptoms that look like something else entirely.
Why RBC testing? Why not a regular blood test or a hair test?
Plasma levels — what most standard blood tests check — change throughout the day based on meals, stress, hydration, and dozens of other factors. They give you a picture of right now, not of your ongoing nutritional status.
Red blood cells live for about 120 days and absorb nutrients slowly over that time. Testing them gives you a stable 3 to 4 month average — much more useful for understanding what your body has actually been working with.
Hair testing can indicate long-term exposure to certain heavy metals, but it's not a reliable measure of cellular nutrient status. RBC analysis is the current standard for that purpose.
Are these tests covered by insurance?
Most insurance plans do not cover these tests because they are not tied to a specific diagnosis code. HSA and FSA accounts can be used for payment. Medicare offers partial reimbursement for the Urine Amino Acid profile.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No. You can order directly.
Do I have to do all three tests at once?
You don't have to, but we strongly recommend it for your first panel. Nutrients interact. Seeing minerals, fatty acids, and amino acids together at the same time gives a much clearer picture than seeing them separately. It also makes the supplementation recommendations more targeted and effective.
How often should I retest?
For the first panel, all three tests together. After that, retesting depends on your results and how you're responding to supplementation. Most people retest after three to six months of targeted support.
What's the difference between RBC and WBC nutrient testing?
White blood cells are highly sensitive to changes in the body — any infection, allergy, inflammation, or health change affects their nutrient content. They also have short, variable lifespans. This makes them unreliable for measuring stable, long-term nutrient status.
Red blood cells are one consistent cell type with a predictable 120-day lifespan. They absorb nutrients passively and stay relatively stable. This makes them the more reliable medium for nutritional profiling.

Why does the amino acid test use urine instead of blood?
Urine amino acid analysis is currently the most accurate and accessible way to measure how the body is processing protein and metabolizing amino acids. We are actively working toward an RBC-based amino acid test as that becomes available.
